– 1/3 cup of apple cider vinegar
– 1/3 cup of water
– 2 Tbsp of tahini

Combine all ingredients in a food processor. Store in a glass jar in the fridge. Give it 5 -10 minutes to return to room temperature when serving.
Nutritional yeast is a complete protein and a high source of B vitamins including B12.
According to Medical News Today, “A 2017 study found that people who had lower blood levels of B12 were more likely to have depression or anxiety. A 2018 study found that people who ate foods high in B vitamins – in this case, yeast based foods had better anxiety and stress scores that people who did not.”
When combined with tahini (a good source of calcium) nutritional yeast contributes to this dressing’s nutty and cheesy flavor which makes getting 3 servings of vegetables per day easier.
“I always have a jar of this dressing in the fridge to drizzle over salads and steamed vegetables and recommend my weight loss clients do the same,” says Chrissy Certified Exercise Physiologist.
Filling up a plate with vegetables before having the main course of a meal will reduce over consumption, add satiety, and give the body much needed nutrients for it to thrive.
